Clover is thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for unemployed South African youth to join our Sales Department as Merchandisers. This 12-month program is designed to provide valuable work experience, helping you build a strong foundation for your future career. Positions are available at Clover branches in Clayville, CDC Cape Town, Bloemfontein, and Queensburgh.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent NQF4 qualification
- Fluent in Business English
- Availability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays

Key Responsibilities
- Stock Management:
- Ensure accurate stock control in-store and backup areas.
- Minimize and document returns per store work plan.
- Prevent stockouts and promptly report issues to the Area Manager (AM).
- Place accurate, timely stock orders.
- Merchandising Excellence:
- Keep products clean, neat, and well-organized on shelves.
- Pack shelves according to Store Flow and merchandising standards.
- Maintain shelf displays as per store plans and plannograms.
- Ensure refrigerators and point-of-sale materials are well-maintained.
- Relationship Building:
- Build strong relationships with store management, Area Managers, Head Office, customers, and fellow merchandisers.
- Operational Efficiency:
- Maintain proper administration and comply with company stock, equipment, and returns policies.
- Identify opportunities to enhance product visibility and placement in stores.
