Position Overview

Eskom invites applications for 10 Electrical Apprentices to join our Artisan Training Programme within the Electrical discipline, as part of the Cape Coastal Cluster in the Maintenance & Operations Department. This 3-year training program combines institutional and on-the-job training, culminating in an opportunity to attain a Trade Test Certificate.

Minimum Requirements

Education:
Applicants must meet one of the following criteria:

  • Grade 12 with a minimum of 50% in Mathematics, 50% in Physical Science, and 40% in English.
  • N3 Engineering with a minimum of 50% in Mathematics, 50% in Physical Science, and 40% in English.
  • NCV Level 4 with a minimum of 50% in Mathematics, 50% in Physical Science, and 40% in English.

  • Self-Discipline: Ability to adopt a conscientious and self-disciplined approach.
  • Motivation: High levels of drive and determination.

  • Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in a structured 3-year Artisan Training Programme.
  • Engage in both theoretical and practical training modules.
  • Successfully complete training requirements to achieve a Trade Test Certificate.
