The Snoring Piglet

Once upon a time, in a cozy little farm, there lived a tiny pink piglet named Pepper. Pepper was the smallest piglet in the whole barnyard, but he had the biggest snore of all!

Every night, when the sun went down and the moon came up, Pepper would curl up in his soft straw bed. He would close his little eyes, wiggle his curly tail, and then… SNOOOOORE!

The sound was so loud that it woke up all the farm animals. The chickens fluffed their feathers and clucked, “Cluck, cluck! What’s that sound?” The cows mooed softly, “Moo! We can’t sleep!” Even the wise old owl hooted, “Hoo, hoo! Someone is snoring!”

Poor Pepper didn’t know he was keeping everyone awake. He just dreamed happy dreams about rolling in mud puddles and eating sweet apples.

One night, the kind farmer’s wife heard the snoring too. She smiled and tiptoed to the pigpen with a soft, warm blanket. “There, there, little Pepper,” she whispered gently. She tucked the blanket around him and patted his head.

Something magical happened! As soon as Pepper felt the cozy blanket, his snoring became softer and softer. Instead of loud snores, he made the gentlest little sounds: “Sniff, sniff… puff, puff…”

The farm animals smiled sleepily. The chickens tucked their heads under their wings. The cows lay down in the soft grass. The owl closed his big round eyes.

From that night on, whenever Pepper began to snore, the other animals would bring him soft things to help him sleep better. The sheep shared their fluffy wool. The ducks brought down feathers. The horses gave him sweet hay to rest on.

And Pepper? He slept so peacefully, dreaming of all his kind friends. His snores became like a gentle lullaby that helped everyone on the farm drift off to sleep.

The chickens would say, “Pepper’s snoring sounds like a gentle breeze.” The cows would say, “It’s like a soft song.” The owl would say, “It’s the perfect bedtime sound.”

Now, every night when the stars twinkle and the moon shines bright, little Pepper curls up in his cozy bed. He closes his eyes, wiggles his tail, and makes the softest, sweetest sleeping sounds.

And all the farm animals sleep peacefully, knowing that Pepper the piglet is having the most wonderful dreams.

The End.
