Bunny’s First Yawn
Little Bunny had soft, fluffy fur as white as fresh snow. He lived in a cozy burrow with Mama Bunny and Papa Bunny, where everything was warm and safe.
One evening, as the sun painted the sky in pretty pink colors, Little Bunny felt something strange. His mouth opened wide, and out came a tiny sound: “Ahhhh.” Then his mouth closed with a soft “mmm.”
“What was that?” Little Bunny asked, touching his mouth with his small paw.
Mama Bunny hopped over and nuzzled his head. “That was your very first yawn, my little one,” she said gently. “It means your body is getting ready for sleep.”
Little Bunny watched as Papa Bunny stretched his long ears and yawned too. “Ahhhh-mmm.” Then Mama Bunny yawned. “Ahhhh-mmm.”
“Yawns are special,” Mama Bunny explained. “They help us feel sleepy and peaceful. When we yawn, it tells everyone around us that it’s time to rest.”
Little Bunny felt his eyes getting heavy. The burrow felt extra cozy now, with soft moonlight peeking through the entrance. He snuggled between Mama and Papa Bunny.
“Ahhhh-mmm,” Little Bunny yawned again, bigger this time. His yawn was so catching that even the cricket outside chirped more softly.
“Good night, Little Bunny,” whispered Mama Bunny.
“Sleep tight,” whispered Papa Bunny.
And with one more tiny yawn, Little Bunny closed his eyes and drifted off to dreamland, where he hopped through fields of soft dandelions under a gentle moon.
The End.
