- 30.44 days per month – Accounts for months with 28, 29, 30, and 31 days
- 365.25 days per year – Automatically handles leap years that occur every 4 years
- 7 days per week – Standard week length

About the Gregorian Calendar
This calculator uses the Gregorian calendar, introduced by Pope Gregory XIII in 1582 and now the most widely used civil calendar system worldwide. It refined the earlier Julian calendar by adjusting the leap year rule to keep the calendar year synchronized with the astronomical year.
