The position is based at Truworths Head Office in Cape Town, and we are looking for candidates who can start on 1 February 2025.
As an IT Intern, you will gain exposure to various aspects of Information Technology, including Desktop Support, Business Applications Support, and Information Systems Management. The retail industry is fast-moving and ever-evolving, making this an excellent opportunity to develop skills that are transferable across various sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
You will gain practical experience in the following areas:
- Desktop Support: Assisting with the setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance of desktop systems.
- Business Applications Support: Providing support for business applications and ensuring smooth operations.
- Communication Networks: Gaining exposure to the infrastructure and communication systems that support the business.
- Information Systems and Technology Management: Assisting with IT management processes and strategies.
- Support Services: Supporting end-users with software maintenance, basic computer maintenance, and the development of computer applications for users.
Qualifications & Experience:
- A National Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Information Technology, or equivalent qualifications such as diplomas or certificates in programming.
- Recent graduates or individuals entering the workforce for the first time are encouraged to apply.
