About the Role
Eskom is seeking a Senior Advisor in Quantity Surveying to provide expert advisory and support services. This includes contract collation, costing, payment certification, evaluation, and dispute resolution to meet a central database’s contract management services needs.
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications:
- B-Degree/B-Tech in Built Environment, Commerce, or Human Science at NQF Level 7 with 360 credits.
Experience:
- At least 5 years of experience in Quantity Surveying or Cost Engineering within the built environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert quantity surveying services across the project lifecycle.
- Draft cost estimates for capital investment projects.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of consultants, contractors, and suppliers regarding quantity and cost.
- Draft, review, measure, and control the effectiveness of inquiry documentation.
- Reconcile and forecast expenditures for projects.
- Mentor and coach quantity surveying personnel.
- Ensure compliance with Eskom governance, safety, health, environment, risk, and quality standards.
