Job Overview
Eskom is seeking a qualified Technician for CPM Calibration to operate, maintain, commission, diagnose faults, and repair control plant equipment safely and effectively. This role is essential in sustaining or enhancing the quality of supply while meeting organizational objectives and adhering to Eskom standards.
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications:
- National N Diploma or National Diploma in Electrical Engineering (NQF Level 6) with 240 credits.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years or P1+P2 experience in a technical environment.

Knowledge:

- Operating Regulations for High Voltage Systems (ORHVS).
- Fault diagnosis and investigation.
- Control plant-specific maintenance and work execution, accredited to Level 2 or intermediate level.
- Low Voltage Operating Regulations (LVOR) with Outcome 3 authorization.
Skills:
- Proficiency in computer applications.
- Administrative abilities.
- Valid Code 08 driver’s license.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair control plant equipment.
- Diagnose faults and implement effective solutions.
- Install and commission control plant equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, environment, quality, and security (SHEQS) standards.
