Position Overview
Eskom is seeking a skilled Technician CPM Metering to join our Maintenance and Operations – Control Plant Maintenance (SM and S) department within the Limlanga Cluster business unit. The successful candidate will operate, maintain, commission, diagnose faults, and repair control plant equipment safely and effectively to sustain or enhance the quality of supply, aligning with Eskom standards and organizational objectives.
Minimum Requirements
Qualification(s):
- National N Diploma / National Diploma in Electrical Engineering at NQF6 with 240 credits.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years, including P1+P2 experience, in a technical environment.

Knowledge:

- Accreditation to Level 2 or intermediate level in control plant-specific maintenance discipline.
- Familiarity with Low Voltage Operating Regulations (LVOR) and Outcome 3 authorization.
Skills:
- Computer literacy
- Administrative proficiency
- Valid Code 08 driver’s license
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain control of plant equipment.
- Diagnose faults and perform repairs on control plant equipment.
- Install and commission control plant equipment.
- Comply with safety, health, environment, quality, and security (SHEQS) standards.
